Jaja dale viejo, nadie nace sabiendo. Lo que tienes que hacer es extraer el contenido del archivo comprimido en la carpeta /home/(tu nombre de usuario)/.icons -- atención, si la carpeta no existe, entonces tienes que crearla. Para saber si la carpeta existe, debes ir a tu home (/home/tu_nombre_de_usuario) y presionar Ctrl+H para ver las carpetas ocultas.

Cualquier otra duda, me consultas.

Muchísimas gracias viejo!
Este tema de íconos, se aplicará junto con el que tenga puesto previamente? (dado que supuestamente sólo cambia los tray icons), el resto de los íconos seguirá siendo, por ejemplo, los elementary icons?

Jeje así es viejo, pero tienes la opción de complementarlo con el tema de íconos que quieras. Si no sabes cómo hacerlo, me consultas :D.

Can you give some tips on how to change my tray icons to use these instead? I'm using the elementary icon set right now, which are in .svg, but any pointers at all would help..

Open the index.theme file with gedit :)

Yeah, sure, and sorry for the 14 weeks delay... all you have to do is open the index.theme file in the Tray Icons folder, and on the Inherits line, put elementary first. That's all! Enjoy! :)
